Book for February

This month’s book is entitled The Scrofula Infirmary. It is tinged both with sadness and joy.

It is about two children sent from London with TB to the Royal Sea Bathing Infirmary in Margate where they enjoy the attractions of Margate as well as the dangers of  big storms and sea surges.
